how did u manage to predict 5 numbers hours before the programmes were on?

He didn't, it's called post editing.

I have watched it back a couple of times now and I kept having to tell myself to look at the balls in the studio rather than the TV.

Me too - you get very easily drawn to the rest of the screen, however much you try. Also watched it in slow motion either but spotted nothing.

The split screen is the obvious theory - but too obvious perhaps? We all know it's all about Derren lying to us - he opens every show basically telling us that, and this series has been promoted about being based around misdirection.

What studio was he coming from, was it a channel 4 one?

Channel 4 don't have any. I didn't recognise it but it looked like a converted warehouse

There is one small studio in C4 HQ, used more as a screening room I believe with seating for a hundred or so people. I don't think this was it though - looked far too big.

No, that would have shown up with an "Edited xx" comment at the bottom. Clever, David - took me a few seconds to work out how you'd done that!

Hmmm...

So I'm going to write 6 numbers. They are 1 2 3 4 5 6

I'm also going to write the numbers again. 1 20 3 4 5 6....

So if you can see that this post hasn't been edited then mr above has done something cleverer. If you can't then he is just editing his post and it wouldn't show you that he had...

Just watching E4+1 - I love the continuity before the advert break preceeding the live programme. They did a cross promotion for what's on the other '4' channels and Derren Brown was on all of them.

'hang on what's going on, how's he doing that. Even friends doesn't make it onto all our channels!'

Good old E4. Continuity at it's best. I don't suppose anyone capped that did they?

I can predict the lottery too. I predict that there will be 7 balls drawn. Does that count?

As for the numbers...

It could be me.

And the fact that the room they were in was obviously a lot older than the C4 building.

IIRC the stuio at C4 - once run by 124 facilities was decommissioned and stripped out a few years ago

So it does, for some reason I was thinking it wasn't working on here.
