Why did we only see one shot with the camra right at the back?

Because if it had flicked between the two then people would have claimed that's when the switch was made etc.

Regarding Friday's show, I can guarantee it will all be about harnessing the power of the paranormal, mathematical cybernetic shamanic power and inner synergies, etc.

Obviously Brown isn't going to fill an hour by saying "it was two camera shots mixed together with a fake camera shake effect to make it look real".

Have you seen this "join", or is it just a theory?

Just a theory. Obviously the whole thing was heavily rehearsed and the camera (plus all the lighting, etc) was firmly rooted to the spot, making the join imperceptible to the viewer.

It's an interesting one - by speeding up the clip you get the sense that the camera suddenly "locks" into a position just before he walks over but even if it was that, it would be pretty boring to reveal on Friday so I guess he's come up with some suitable yarn that'll boost ticket sales for Saturday.

I'd like to think it was something a bit less techy though...

Still could have had it picture-in-picture though. I guess the second camera was just used to give the impression of a vast empty studio. You could see a guy waiting in the wings when he first walked in anyway...

So why would he need two?

I think he's right, I've just watched the recording I made, you can see the ball on the far left move up (if you notice when he turns it round the final ball on the right is not actually touching the bottom of holder). Before he turns the TV off, it's very slight but you can see it move. When he's writing the numbers down, when he says "23", that's when it happens.

I'm sure it is mathematics... and the stuff you said. We don't know exactly how he did it and that is the buzz he gets making the viewer believe it's camera trickery etc. No "magic" or technical nonsense was involved except the equations and mind things he will explain on friday. He went to Camelot.. think about it.

We saw the camera that was up the front with Derren was clearly hand held yet throughout the draw, there were shots that were far too steady to be from a hand held and at some points look almost if they were tripod based.

Again, we only saw one wide shot - possibly pre-recorded to allow the handheld camera to be placed on some kind of mount to allow for clever trickery.

What studio was he coming from, was it a channel 4 one?

Channel 4 don't have any. I didn't recognise it but it looked like a converted warehouse

You guys are all getting sucked in by what he wants you to think. He wants us to believe it is camera trickery and "magic". It isn't!

I did not take to much in but you know when he when over to the balls then wallked back over when did the camera shot change so he could show them. Because if he was nowhere near the balls when the camera shots switched then something could have been but in front of the camera.

And, the prerecorded parts presumably had the TV off to allow it to be... prerecorded. Surely he could secure rights to show more of the programme.

It looked like some kind of theatre.
