Why didn't the 24 people join him in the room for the reveal? It was too late for them to buy a ticket anyway, so they couldn't benefit from it.

It was a trick on the team of predictors too!

Presumably the whole is to get your questioning your beliefs, questioning what's going on in the programme, leaving some clear hints (ie him calculating the final numbers) and leaving you to work it out.

But I still think The System worked far better and made its point in a better way by letting the viewer into it.

Still none the wiser, but a great programme none the less - and arguably better for leaving you with questions rather than answers.

Why is the programme on again? Just flicking the channel and this on Channel 4 again... thought I had turned to c4+1 but I'm on 4HD

so it was on from 9pm till 10pm and from 11:35pm to 12:40am

Why? Confused

I don't even think weighted balls would alter the outcome of the lottery,
They would. That's why all the balls are weighed and checked for friction very regularly. But I still vote for the split screen trick from Mr Brown. Cool

4.6m watched the programme last night for the explanation of what only 2.7m saw on Wednesday, according to the BBC.

Disappointing. As if we were to believe this crap anyway. At the end of the show he said something like..

"You may have your own theories about this but all I will say is.. it's just a trick "

Yep.

Channel 4 seem to do this with "groundbreaking" programming or programming that's been advertised to death. I can only presume it's to attract a bigger audience.

When 'The Family' first aired (this time last year), the first episode was aired 9pm-10pm on C4, naturally repeated 10pm-11pm on C4+1, then again 11pm-12am on C4 followed by the timeshift 12am-1am. Four opportunities to catch it plus the availability on 4oD.
