Yes the buffering problems have gone away now and its quite chilled muzak.
Some great distortion on the mic though - i think there is a setting in shoutcast to lower the microphone audio level (on the INPUT tab)
I think TV Forum should set up its own radio station - with some details on what programmes are worth watching on the same night/following day.(as i keep missing things like Dead Ringers for example) and im sure it would be nice to hear some old idents and theme music aswell.
has any tried something like this before?

I wouldn't mind knowing what you need to set something like this up. Only we were thinking of running some kind of AFC Bournemouth Interactive fans forum online, and maybe audio segments, reading out of emails, etc for the supporters assosciation.
How how do you do this kind of stuff?
And what about the licensing of playing music/broadcasting in the first place!?!
Sam Davis is still listening from here in Bournemouth!

It's easiest to do it with a dedicated server. This little operation is probably running off a home PC.
It could be done, have members take it in turns to do different shifts, running the station for a few hours a day. A lot of us seem to have enough spare time anyway.
