The Debbie King Show

I know theres already a thread on this show, but yeah it starts tonight, sounds like a cheap Quizmania to me, wont be long before Greg is drafted in.

It starts tonight but if ITV are suspending all phone in shows from tomorrow then it won't be here for much longer ...

This was either a notice or a warning, depending if you like her or hate her

It just makes no sense to drop Quizmania and then a couple months later introduce this - unless this is made by ITV.


So is it made by ITV or Fremantle?

I'd go for ITV because they want 100% of the profits, which is why they got rid of Quizmania and all the others produced by independent producers.

According to Wikipedia, "The Debbie King Show was created by Debbie King, also one of the creators of Quizmania, and will be shown on ITV Play at 10pm - 12am, from Monday - Friday. The show will begin airing on Monday 5 March 2007. Debbie King is expected to be the only presenter at first, but more are expected to join her through the series."

I really don't get it ...

You have to laugh at the title - 'The Debbie King Show!' All it is is another lowest-of-the-low late night scam show. Does it make her feel like a proper TV star?

its not made by itv or by debbies production company and there wont be anymore presenters joining her,
there are members of the old quizmania working behind the scenes.but it will be nothing like qm.

BIt of a strange debut to be honest, one night and then off air until further notice. I hope the show is at least watchable compared to the great Quizmania and in my opinion Debbie King's a great presenter so she should lighten up my evenings .

Hmm, I've got nothing against dear old Debbie but I really think this will be a low point for her.

What's the bet Flash turns up, the set is painted pink and she starts tripping over mini-fridges again.

What is so good about her, i have seen her a couple of times - ok she is quite good looking, but don't most of you swing the other way?

Oh dear, this looks dire. It's a "satirical news show". But it's not. It's a phone-in quiz show.

First question: Fill in the blank - "The Debbie ???? Show Launches Tonight"

Watching the first few minutes, seems like a low budget entertainment show with phone in quizzes rather than a quiz show.

It isn't actually that bad, its alright when theres nothing else on.
