For me the 'spinn offs' in the form of internet games, newspaper games and the merchandise have milked the show too much and has lost some of its charm as a result.

you might aswel forget the first 35 mins as nobody ever takes an early offer and just watch the last 10 mins when the decisions are made.

They are obviously milking the merchandise this Christmas

There's the famous DVD game, the board game, card game, book, puzzle book etc. The gameplay is apparantly quite poor on many of those formats

I loved the format of Deal or No Deal, when it first launched on C4, especially, from seeing the Australian Version, it was a real breeze, and different, in some ways, but the show itself, is good fun, and challenging!

Provisional schedules suggest that as well as the already announced double editions on Christmas Day and Boxing Day (with a £500,000 jackpot), there will be double episodes throughout the week aswell.

That's something to watch whilst tucking into turkey sandwiches and mulled wine then. A bit of Noel on Christmas Day.

All the way through until 5th January by the looks of the provisional schedules.

Talk about milking a format for all it's worth.

Loved DOND when it first started, but I'm really quite tired of it now and only watch occasionally.

What's really put me off is all the whooping and cheering. This used to kind of build towards the END of the show, but now it's starting pretty much at the beginning of the show. All the hand holding, chanting and crying is getting a bit much now.
