Acording to someone on the forum at Dond.co.uk Dee's (Monday) episode was made the day after Jonathan Charels Bunney's was broadcast (one of the reasons why they would of brought him back on that day presumbly rather then on Easter Sunday so the audience would of seen his game) which would of been on 1st Febuary so presumbly this episode was filmed on this very sam day.
I like the fact the bloopers are kept in, a break from the norm of heavily edited shows - as for it's future, C4 has got the mix right, episodes during the week and a classic on Saturday's.
Whether or not people like it, it provides tough competion for other channels in that pre-teatime slot

I quite agree like when a box in Massimos game fell open.
If the show wasn't at a point where where it's so tired it needs "bloopers" and power cuts to make it entertaining they wouldn't have to keep them in. The above poster is right - the show takes itself far far far to seriously.
They keep such 'bloopers' (like the box that was dropped or this powercut) in the edit to be transparent and fair about the game.
You can imagine the alternative - load of chatterings on the internet containing wild conspiracy theories about how the game was fixed but what they editted out
What I don't get is if there was a power cut, why didn't the cameras go down, maybe it was an emrgency generator, maybe it was faked to keep audiences, oooh I'm full of conspiracies today!
Looking at the YouTube clip, it looks to me like....
The power cut sequecnce was taken from a portable ('PSC') camera used for cut-aways (remember the behind the scenes shots in the £250,000 winning episode?) - which of course would have a battery and microphone. You'll notice that the lights do start to dim right at the end of the 'normal' bit - i.e. the lights failed a fraction of a second before the studio cameras and VT. The footage from the portable camera was then edited into the studio recording, this started with an the end of an 'oooh' from the audience so presumably the cameraperson only started roll when he realised the power had gone off.
As for the lights, the lighting grid looks like it's being illuminated by a skylight, anything else would be from emergency lighting.
I dont think its just about Tranparecy i think it's what make the show unique. Like when noel and a contestant went up to the main road and a cyclist called Troy what she thought they should do.
Looks like that Deal or No Deal will be taking a summer break again this year, with C4 commissioning a new show to replace it - Win My Wage, in which contestants can win the salary of one of eight panel members, who's income range from £3,500 to £100,000.
On another note, what happens with the view's quiz in Wales, given that S4C show the programme earlier than C4? Do S4C viewers get a seperate quiz all to themselves?
Well, unless it's changed recently S4C are a couple of weeks behind, so like the More4 screening I suppose they have the "Competition Closed" caption on them.
Really annoying on the repeat too - considering at least the link going in to the break could easily be edited out without interfering much with the programme.
I know in the early days of Big Brother when S4C didn't screen the eviction shows at the same time as C4 the S4C announcer said lines were closed and S4C put up their own captions during the show.
