Looking at Digiguide it seems the Saturday repeat editions are staying for now at least.

Also, Noel is hosting the Friday Night Project on the 26th January.

P.S. Didn't Gyles Brandreth say he wanted nothing to do with Countdown if it were to continue after RIchard Whitely's death - he's in dictionary corner in a couple of weeks!

Great, Deal or No Deal 7 days a week. This repeat is so unncessary, I can see why they're repeating the £250,000 win episode, but what other episodes are they going to pick for the repeat ?

Perhaps for the next three weeks someone wins it every week then! Wink

Surprised Now that I am surprised about. He probably thinks its like a Noel's House Party affair.

Really - I was only thinking the other day he's bound to do it sooner or later!

It has to be odds on that Mr Blobby will appear in some capacity when Noel does the FNP

O/T but will Paul O'Grady be doing it anytime soon? I remember he was scheduled to do the last series before the heart attack occurred and naturally he wasn't able to do it.

Our version here in the Philippines is great! The ladies (or 26K as we can call it... ALL FILIPINA OF COURSE!) and the logo are more like the US. However, the music is from the Netherlands... The name of the one in the Philippines is Kapamilya, Deal or No Deal. It's shown on our local TV station ABS-CBN. 7:45 PM M-F (Asia Pacific time zone). The top prize used to be PhP2,000,000 (UK£21,052.63/US$40,000), now the top prize is PhP4,000,000 (UK£42,105.26/US$80,000). Enjoy watching a clip of someone winning the P2,000,000. Here's a clip:

Enjoy!

Finally saw the big show last night. What a fantastic edition!! The audience got louder and louder as it went along. Great TV.

However they need to cut down on the number of shows each week. They'll ruin it.

Possibly the highest ever offer on tonights show (though after the deal) of £172,000 with the £100,000 and £250,000. I know it's happened at least twice and last time the offer was £170,000.

I think it's been the best run of shows in quite some time for Deal or No Deal - there have been alot of good games since Christmas.

The banker also seems to be on a roll of making the right offer at the right time, though it does annoy me now the opening offers always seem so high, while in the final stages he's often quite tight.

The offer was £175k the first time it happened.

High opening offers are a clever trick to see if people will chase their losses.
