I don't think it's that important actually as it was to Millionaire as often it's more about personal goals than the ultimate goal.

So, a Welsh woman did it in the end. A good episode actually - and if you didn't know, completly unexpected.

She wasn't a major character, and it was far from the perfect game and indeed I even questioned myself half way through if we'd been hoaxed!

They should have phoned the banker back in the end though! His own fault, a more respectable offer nearer the £100k mark would almost certainly have been dealt!

It's probably the beginning of the end for the show now. I don't know about anyone else but it's become unbearable to watch because of all the sickly luvvie stuff and positive thinking crap. Rolling Eyes

well the spanish deal or no deal has had 5 contestants win the top prize and most other international versions have had at least 2 winners so i dont think it will be ending yet. if the ratings are still high in the weeks to come i cant see it coming to an end in the near future.

Ratings in recent weeks have been as high as ever - though ironically Sundays is generally the least watched edition of the week.

Indeed, I don't know how anyone can watch this everyday- it's just sickening.

I can't be the only one who feels like throwing their remote at the screen each time Noel says:

"don't make it a big one"

or

"you could still be our first quarter millionaire"

or a player says

"i can feel this is a big number in my box"

or the players start chanting "blue, blue, blue"

It's a random number game for crying out loud!!

It's fine to enjoy once a week or less, but I don't know how people of any intelligence sit through this concept dragged out over far too long on a daily basis.

If you didn't know, I guess it would have been unexpected! Wink

Isn't that what people said when WWTBAM got it's first winner years ago?

Sadly I missed it as I was on a train at the time... it has been taped for me though!

Deal or No Deal is fantastic... guess the talk either appeals to you or it doesn't but everyday you get a very different game depending on the player and their relationship with Noel, the players and of course the Banker.

I noticed the Wikipedia entry suggests the Banker could be the Exec Prod... has anyone heard any more on that?

It is - Glenn Hugill or something like that, used to host The Mole on C5.

I still think it's a great show as it hooks you in - Noel can be annoying at times, but when a show runs so long and is parodied so much it's inevitable.

Thank you Brekkie Boy - I did not know it was confirmed... wonder when the programme will reveal him to the nation??

He was a character in Coro too, trying to remember the character's name though... something like Alan. IIRC he almost got married to Fiona Armstrong? Confused I'm losing my memory in my declining years Embarassed

Does anybody know which episode it is on 4oD? I'm assuming Episode 11 of Series 2007, but it's not dated.

I don't want to waste £1 on the wrong episode. Shocked
