What's going on today? A repeat, with facts scrolling across the screen?

Today's episode of Deal Or No Deal is not being shown due to "unforseen circumstances" according to the C4 continuity announcer...

Rather odd as the shows are pre-recorded. I don't know if there's a legal issue similar, I noticed the other day 2 contestants were absent with nobody standing in.

EDIT: I notice there is no phone competition, I wonder if this episode is designed for repeats or being shown on other TV channels?

maybe the player died and they just thought it would be a bit insensitive...

Not the player, but a member of their family, I gather.

Caught the end of tonights show and for the second time in the show's history we have £100,000 and £250,000 left at the end - but she'd already dealt!

She had the £250,000 - the second time in eight shows it's been on the table after over 100 without it.

Annoyingly I had taped the show but the PDC cut out before the third part because the schedule was interupted for a C4 News report!

Also been meaning to post this for a week or so but last Mondays game was interesting. The first few offers were "Double Deals" - and if the offer was guessed correctly the banker would double it.

Later in the game it was a case of guess correctly or you'll get no offer - just the chance to swap, and the offer with just three boxes to go was guess correctly and the banker will make you an offer after each and every box you open in the final round.

He did guess correctly but dealt (at £15,000 I think). The game played out with the offers after every box - and the tension was still their as the offers slowly rose due to him having £75,000 in his box.

Again tonight she was left the £250,000, with the £10,000, and managed to deal at £107,031. She did have the £250,000 in her box. We could have had the first jackpot winner so many times this month! Still, I'd be happy with what she's won!...

Second highest winner in the show's history!

Good show tonight.

Wasn't something supposed to be happening with the viewers comp today - they've been plugging it all week but it was just the usual £1000, £2000 and £10,000 comp.

Maybe it was due to be a "match play" game - but after the studio player won over £100,000 they changed their minds!

I'd never have guessed what the spoiler had said if you hadn't blanked it out... Rolling Eyes
