Noel was on Richard and Judy tonight.

Didn't say too much about Deal or No Deal - it's more about plugging his Cosmic Ordering book - but revealed the code behind the symbols on his hands will be revealed when Deal or No Deal returns (28th August)

Oh, so we won't have even left August before it returns. Like I said before, DOND needs a very long break, much longer than just a month IMHO.

No, it's just running 5 minutes early due to the Bank Holiday schedule (i.e. C4 News is at 6.55pm for 5 minutes!)

Also Deal or No Deal will be getting another primetime run in November.

Deal or No Deal will return to peaktime in November as Channel 4 marks the first anniversary of the gameshow.

Special shows are being developed by Endemol UK that will follow the successful Double Deal Week in June, when the Noel Edmonds-hosted show successfully competed with World Cup matches.

Edmonds has previously warned against Deal or No Deal burnout but is believed to be supportive of the plans. Deal or No Deal premiered on C4 on 31 October last year with 1.9 million viewers but has since steadily grown its audience, regularly attracting over 3 million.

The news comes in the same week the BBC announced Edmonds would return to primetime in September to host a National Lottery special in a move BBC 1 controller Peter Fincham described as the "beginning of a new chapter between Noel and the channel".

ITV is also believed to have attempted to snare the former host of Noel's House Party.

"Deal Or No Deal" is only on at 4.15pm for next week.
Commencing Monday, 4th September "Countdown" continues as usual from 3.30-4.15pm. "Come Dine With Me" returns at 4.15pm. Then, "Deal Or No Deal" moves to 4.45pm and "A Place In The Sun" fills the half-hour remaining from 5.30-6.00pm.

CDWM is awful. I can understand why Channel 4 has arranged the schedule like that though. Richard and Judy finish at the end of next week, so the need to keep viewers pulled into DOND as they will be competing against the Sharon Ozbourne show.

The ''The are millions of boxes in the world'' advertising is excellently done but does anyone think it reminds them of Homer's ''Mr Plough'' late night advertising?

Personally I think there will be minor changes to the set but nothing radical, it is just an evolution.

Interesting tour of outside the studio, taking things literally on the suggestion of "stepping out of the game for a moment". I wonder if we'll see more of such things with the new series.
