Was there anything mentioned on Countdown today about it being a year since Richard died? Unfortunately I forgot to tune in... does anyone know when it's due to be repeated on More4?
This week's Broadcast reports that following the success of 'Double Deal week', more prime time extra editions of Deal or no Deal may be on the way as and when required. What do you all think of this?
It does need a break. There were reports it would get one during the summer, but I doubt it will myself!
Re: more Primetime editions.
Yes - and no. I think they could have kept the World Cup ones going an extra couple of weeks, but I'd say during these times they should screen "Hall of Fame" episodes in the daytime slots featuring the classic games.
It did perform really well on the Sunday when it aired in primetime, and C4 have long been looking for something for the Sunday 8pm slot, so it wouldn't surprise me at all if the weekend edition moved from it's irregular Saturday evening slot to a fixed 8pm slot on Sundays.
I think in a years time the format will have completely burnt itself out, if it's still on 6 times a week with extra editions.
Agreed, SE.
I first started watching it in January this year and didn't miss an episode til late May. This may have had something to do with the sexy young Lucy Harrington though.
I was addicted to it but now I can't bear Noel Edmonds' inane drivel.
