Some things I've noticed as of late:
1) Why does the More4 showing of Deal or No Deal look so grey and washed-out compared to the Channel 4 airing? Tonight it looked just like the weather outside the house - grey and dismal. Might not be a programme issue, could be a general More4 issue.
2) Why is the end-of-part bumper for Deal still so badly edited on the More4 showing? Or is it a necessary evil due to the way the viewer competition has been tacked on with no appropriate editpoint available?
3) Any particular reason why the sponsor bumpers are different for the C4 showing and the More4 showing? Or have they done it like this because they can?
Oh and I reckon Stevie's going to go all the way and win a quarter of a million if the results in her box as of late are anything to go by.

Well tomorrow is Des Lynam's first Countdown final, and I think it's worth a watch. Apparantly the trophy is being named after Richard Whiteley.
On Monday, there's a champion of champions run for three weeks.

No, the first 2 'prime-time' Saturday editions were an hour too

Also it's the first Saturday show in a while to be extended to the hour - so it was obvious from the schedule he'd go to to the end!

How much is Lord Edmonds of Devonshire getting paid for that advert.
Surely Lord Edmonds of Crinkleybottom?
Wouldn't it be funny if the banker turned out to be Mr Blobby
Maybe not...

She skived off work for two weeks - and she's a teacher! That would be grounds for dismissal surely!
Re: Countdown - it's about time they sorted out the repeats on More4 - they are about three weeks behind as they didn't include an extra repeat for Saturday editions, but still broadcast them in the weekday slots.

mildly off topic one of next weeks contestants has been sacked for going on the show because her bosses would not give her the two weeks off.

As so that's why there was a long delay in the repeats. Why didn't they repeat the Saturday episode at the week end?
