Due to an earlier post in this thread I really believed he was going to do it!

Good show tonight - one of the best, though I'm surprised the banker didn't offer a huge sum at the beginning to end the rhymes! The banker's was the best on that score I think!

Also it's the first Saturday show in a while to be extended to the hour - so it was obvious from the schedule he'd go to to the end!

Is each show shown to tv critics for the guides like when we allknew who would win the first million on WWTBAM, is the £250,000 thing going to be exposed before its televised in the press.

Brilliant show - shame he didn't get the £250k, felt for him in the end.

Anyway, Dead Ringers is back on Monday and they've trailered a DOND sketch.. "Join me, the Bee Gee that time forgot" Laughing

He did have courage to go for it. I would've taken the £101,000 it was a great offer.

A first today with two new players joining, rather than one.

This was due to two current player being absent - and though when one is absent the place remains unfilled, it appears that they've decided to fill the other place today.

Be interesting to see what happens when they come back (they are usually off for three shows, as they are filmed in the same day) and if James will be moved from Raj's position to fill Gary's vacant position.

Another first today when the banker offered to double the deal if Simon, the player, could correctly predict it!

Really high offers today - Simon was offered £5000 in round 1 after losing £75k and £250k - and offending the banker previously! Last time the banker was offended by a player (John) he opened with £8 (and John went on to win £10!).

As both a Eurovision and a DOND fan, I loved the show today! Well done to all associated with it.
