Very strange - I think it was knocked over by an over enthusiastic Tom!
What they did was the fair thing to do - (reshuffled the remaining boxes, including players Massimo), so the game so far remained intact - but still things didn't feel right, especially when the £250,000 and £100,000 went in the next two boxes.
They couldn't restart completly as in the future anyone having a bad start could just get someone to accidently open their box!
Full marks though to the team for showing exactly what happened (though a slow motion replay would have been appreciated - check More4 tomorrow!) and not editing it out as if it didn't happen.
Though the reshuffle was the fairest thing to do, it did majorly affect the game and Massimos attitude towards it!

It was the fairest thing to do as they couldn't have restarted the game.
Massimo's luck went downhill from there but it probably would've anyway. Nice to see him walk away with a decent sum of money for his trip to the States. The 16k offer was the turning point though really.
It could have been the case that the producers said that the game had to be reshuffled, but when the boxes went off, they weren't actually touched at all. Either that or the culprit's box switched with one other box only, and the other boxes left untouched, is what I believe happened in the 'reshuffling' process.

Quite possibly, it is totally random so that method is as good as any.
They would have changed the amounts in the boxes, not the actual boxes.
Comparing the clip provided and the repeat on More4, it looks like they've cut out a few bits, and no mention afterwards. Is there a reason why they didn't stop recording?
