I always reckon there's a bit of a fix to the Saturday shows.
From the start it's generally been the more prominent contestants who've been on the Saturday shows.
The selection of contestants is as chosen by the producers - it's never been implied it's random and realistically couldn't be as a contestant could end up there for years without getting to play!
A friend of mine knows Marcus who was on Saturday night's 'Deal or No Deal'. Apparently the producers kept him for the Saturday night show because they knew he would be 'entertaining', and they asked him to be even more 'entertaining' during the recording.
Frendly guy was Marcus, but Christ was I glad to see the back of him.
I just sold a $0.01 box for $320,250 - the best deal available!
Seems strange now playing that game after watching the UK version for so long as it has the same rules as the Aussie version. It begins with 26 boxes, then boxes are opened in rounds of 6, 5, 4, 3, 2 and then individually before each offer.

How much did he go home with?
Lucy proves the fact that seection must be slightly random - she's been around for something like 38 games now.
Anyone see todays 'Deal'? The guy relied on the toss of an old iron staple to decide whether to take the bankers £30k or play on for which he would have gone away with £10k.
