The guy who played today was probably the most unlukiest player to start. He kept taking out all the big numbers and didn't touch any blues. However, his luck turned at the end and was left with 10K and 15K. The banker offered him 11K, but he said no deal. Turned out his box had 10K in it, which was great considering the apalling start. Can't remember the guy's name though.

Goodness, don't you lucky viewers have to work for a living?
The only bad thing I can say about DoND (having caught a couple of weekend eps) is its scheduling.
Surely a late night repeat is called for?

That's just it, it was invented purely so I could follow it whilst I was at work. Happily enough people are able to commentate.

I've just noticed that Thursday and Friday, Deal or No Deal will be going up against Paul O'Grady and The Weakest Link!!
Could it beat O'Grady? And what if it rates higher than Richard and Judy? I also read on the Guardian website that during Space Cadets, the contestants decided to play a game of DOND between themselves to pass the time. This show is turning into a cult favourite very quickly.

When they were looking at their numbered boxes of supplies on the first night, someone did say it was a bit like Deal Or No Deal and a short discussion ensued. I assume that's what they're referring to.

So, do you Brits like DOND?
