RD
On channel four.
The format is the presenter gives a fact, and then asks a question to do with the fact. Random example (off the top of my head):
"Clocks go clock-wise because they originate from sun-dials, where the shadow of the 'hand' (I don't know what it is called :s!) would rotate clock-wise as the sun moves, but . . .;
"If the minute hand points at 'X' and the hour hand at 'VI', what is the time?";
then the presenter would finish with another fact on the question after the question was answered.
Now, why have I brought this topic up?
Well to make a 'real' quotation from the programme (a while ago now):
"What is 'google' a mis-spelling of?
"Google was infact named after a googolplex, then number of quiries they get a day, one, followed by a hundred zeros."
Ah ah, a googolplex is one, followed by a googol of zeros. 'Google' was named when an investor mis-spelt their original name, 'Googol' (a googol is one followed by a hundred zeros.) on a cheque as the now famous 'Google' - according to 'Wikipedia', anyway!
