Anyone see Show 1?

The Noel Edmonds impression was slightly better than Rory Bremers recently.

(Anyone notice the 'real' Noel's former House Party cast member, Barry 'Mr Blobby' Killerby, in the 'Deal Or No Deal' sketch?)

Slight p***take of Mr McGowan there as well. (I must admit watching 'Mayo' it never crossed my mind to liken the sidekicks to the Scooby Doo sidekicks!

(McGowan, for those of you with long memories, was on Series 1 of the original Radio 4 series)

I think Culshaw did better mannerisms of Noel but I prefer Bremner's voice for some reason - the "Ooh oh uh, its the banker" Laughing

"No questions, except one...where the hell do I buy my shirts?"

I love Dead Ringers! Hazel Irvine in the freezing cold Grandstand studio was also funny.

Its the 6th series for the record. I think this is one those shows that seems to last & last because its always keaped topical.

Wants to wait and see if they do David Cameron this series, Bremner's Cameron is rubbish

Apparently its difficult to do David Cameron because he sounds similar to Tony Blair

I think they should give more time to the Fiona Bruce impression. In the last series she had this long conversation with the weatherwoman, where Wales had to be detached from England and the size of Scotland had to be increased because the viewers were not happy. She also described the new (at the time) weather graphics as making countries look like 'a turd wallowing in its own water'.

Following the Apprentice final; an apparent mocking of Alan Sugar's NS&I advert,

"I care so much about the new series of Dead Ringers on BBC TWO, that my fee for this advert; I pocketed it, and gave it to no-one" ...Laughing

Plus, recently and fittingly seen the promotion once again with Culshaw's Sir Alan, trying to get the dog '2' to jump through hoops - nice to see those promotions still getting used (IIRC the "Pedigree Comedy" voiceover has been omitted, no doubt due to the strand not being around now; as they could've easily stopped running the trails but it's good they're still going).

I hope they do a Phil & Kirstie skit, especially as the real Kirstie is 'up the duff' at the moment.

Perhaps they could have Kirstie giving birth to a cardigan ! Laughing

Will we ever get subsequent series of Dead Ringers on DVD?

They're out on CD (Yes,the TV series, not the radio series, though that is as well), which confuses me somewhat. Then again, the BBC have been releasing episodes of their TV shows on tape & CD for years for some odd reason.

Anyone know if the most recent new Radio 4 series, transmitted earlier this year is going to be available on CD yet?

(I've got an off air taped from SKY, but would like to have a 'proper' BBC release!)
