The power rangers sketch was funny but it just shows that people's view is stuck in 1993.

In what I would assume to be a follow-up to the colonoscopy BBC1 ident on Dead Ringers a few weeks ago, last nights saw the introduction of a new ident, using the soundtrack from Petals - Dungball. I will say no more.

The Lily Allen sketch was hilarious, here's the lyrics:

Brilliant end to the series last night - in particular jokes seem to have been targeted at Doctor Who and its spinoffs. Captain Jack in a double bed being pampered by two cybermen, June Whitfield offering a new plan from AXA in the event of an alien invasion - Driftwood , and my utter favourite.

(PM stands up)

PM : I have decided that the only way to secure a lasting legacy is to go on... and on... and on... (PM collapses)

NR : Prime Minister, what exactly is going on...?

(Slowly, the sound of the TARDIS starts fading in and getting louder. A bright glow surrounds the Prime Minister, followed by sparks and explosions.)

NR : Prime Minister... are you all right?

(The glow disappears. The regenerated Prime Minister stands up - he's been replaced by David Tennant!)

PM : (goes to podium, speaks in the voice of the Doctor) People of Britain, this is your newly regenerated Prime Minister. Cheesy grin, Time Lord hand gesture!
