Interesting you should say the audience didn't seem interested - I was actually in the audience for the recording on Sunday and the show didn't really get a lot of laughs. Mainly because it took nearly 2.5 hours and everyone was half asleep!!!!

And someone here was correct - the set they used for the ABC News item was EXACTLY the BBC News spoof set. Talk about cost cutting!

Sounds about right, it took about that long when I was at the recording of Dead Ringers (a year ago), much of the stuff we say was recorded for use in future episodes. Still we were laughing throughout the recording.
