Daytime TV

Dickinson's Real Deal, starts Monday at 14:30pm. Has he moved to ITV now?
Or is he on both channels [BBC and ITV].
I think it might be a bit of a flop.. but lets wait and see!

He's with ITV now. After Dealing With Dickinson it was clear the Beeb were in no hurry to provide him with another vehicle. I was amazed - I didn't think even ITV would want him, I honestly expected him to be "poached" by someone like Living TV or maybe Five.

Well at least ITV are showing something original in the afternoons, not just repeats of dramas. Have to see how this show does in the ratings.

Also I think its lazy how ITV are showing The Price is Right three times a day.
14:00pm and 17:00pm (is the 5pm edition classed as one episode?)

The last 5pm edition I saw was an hour long. Not like ITV to over egg the pudding!

Why do ITV have more episodes of Price Is Right? It's performing appallingly in the ratings.

Agreed, I'm getting fed up with squeaky Joe and his bimbos. It can't be taken seriously.

Typical ITV "ooh Price Is Right - they wanted gameshows whats their problem" approach.

3 episodes of The Price is Right a day is overkill. Its as if they cant be bothered with their afternoons after the lunchtime news. Morning do fine with Jeremy Kyle, This Morning and then Loose Women before the news.

I think they've crammed too much of the decent stuff into the morning. 12.30pm News 13.00pm Loose Women 14.00pm Real Deal.. and so on!
Could they be trying to get as much of The Price is Right out of the way, but couldnt they just axe it..

Well there has been a complete lack of antique / auction shows in the daytime schedule over recent years!

And have Mr Pasquale out of a job? Heaven forbid.

It's a shame that ITV have destroyed such a successful format. I can't watch it now, it's just awful.

Well original for ITV. Of course, these days, original for ITV is stuff they've nicked from other channels but there you go.
