As we all know during the day the BBC offer lifestyle programmes, news, soap, classic dramas, and childrens programmes. On ITV1 they offer magazine programmes, news, chat shows, classic dramas and cookery shows. Share your ideas on what you think of the current line-ups & what you'd prefer. On C4 & Five they show a variety of things. I'd like it so that their is variety on each channel, e.g. a chat show, classic drama, cookery, gameshows, comedies and so on.

I shall be honset I Have Not wacthed Morning Daytime TV in years!
teh only thing i have wacth is daily politics or Holywood live, bar that is not till afternoon I even start wacthing!
I think ITV1 are overkilling 'The Royal' and 'Midsummer Murders', as they both have the Friday night & Sunday night slots for new episodes. Why can't in the 5pm slot ITV1 show something like 'Loose Women' and shuffle back the news to 12:30 and shuffle the rest of the schedule back like this.
What happened to programmes such as 'Mum's on Strike' and 'Dont Move' are they not being comissioned for a second series? *Sorry if incorrect spellings.

Yeah so much for ITV's big ITV Day launch a couple of years ago. Most of the new programmes didnt see the light of day after 1 series and now we get an average of 3 hours of drama repeats in the afternoons.
I don't tend to watch too much daytime telly when I'm off work. If I do I normally switch on BBC1 then get bored and wonder off to the wonderful world ITV3 or ABC1. Cagney & Lacey is my current daytime fave if I have a few moments to spare.
I think BBC One's daytime line up fell down around three years ago. Back then Breakfast would finish at 09.00, then it would be Kilroy (obviously no longer appropriate after his comments) and then from 10.00 - 12.30 it would be a mixture of lifestyle programmes and then a game show at 12.30. Sadly now all the lineup consists of is antiques programmes or selling houses.
In response to the initial question - I would vote none as they are all pretty much as bad as each other.
Ch4 held court for a while last year with POG and 'Deal Or No Deal'. However thanks to severe over-kill they both got tired really quickly and I don't watch any of them anymore. ITV have taken trash to a whole new low, every time I happen to catch 'This Morning' they're always talking about Jordan & Peter as if they idolise them. 'Loose Women' follows which is just the lowest of the low - absolute bilge. Then to cap it all off ITV continues to believe that we all idolise soap-stars and offer 'Soap star Super chef'. The only thing worth any mention on Ch5 is 'The Wright Stuff' which could be a really good show if it wasn't full of attention seeking minor celebs who love the sound of their own voices. BBC1/2 don't even have anything worth mentioning.
