No I don't think it is.
I also dislike the change of clock colour from the red to the orange and do not like blur in thr logo, it makes it stand out too much, it needs to be there but not so visible, let it blend into a white background when it happens.
Whatever happened at 7am TOTH it confused me for once, I would need to see it again.
The ticker looked clunky when it appeared at 6:45, and didn't notice a headline update, has this ticker replaced quarter to/past updates?
I noticed the ticker but I can't say I noticed the new clock. Didn't like how the ticket just appeared and disappeared seemingly when it felt like it. It should be on constantly throughout the newshour, and just on during news bulletins from 7am.
I didn't catch the 7am opening and isn't on ITV Player, how has it changed?
Rather than going from the previous hours weather to the sting to the 'standup' and the headlines, it goes straight to the titles and the couch. So they are trying to make the newshour a bit different at least?
The screens the patio area view seemed to be displaying a different image the other day. Presumably it's the Christmas background, as there was a lot of blue, what looked like snow, and even a Christmas tree. However, the panes on the right side were showing the normal background, so it went from a blue, snowy patio, to a green, summery one.

If they are going to have a ticker then have it constantly, what would be the point of just having it during the news bulletins after 7, the information on the ticker would be the same as that in the news bulletin. Having it constantly allows viewers to be updated in brief with the headlines before the next news bulletin.
