It just seems to be the main presenters and some editors. Dr Hilary isn't there either. He was never sports editor, so he might continue to do sports news. However I don't think that's a direction the new Daybreak will go in so once the Paralympics is over, he might just return to being a general reporter.
Just looking around the website and it does appear to be GMTV in all but name. I like how it has an obvious direction whereas over the course of it being on air, it hasn't really known what it wants to be. There is a caption which says 'Lorraine Kelly and Aled Jones bring you the very latest in hot topics, showbiz and health'. Interpret that how you want.
The graphics seem modern and the website has a good layout. All of the signs are looking good and they seem to have put a lot of effort in, so lets see how it translates on screen. I'm really curious to see if Aled is any good, and if Lorraine can still tackle news well.
