Seriously?

John Stapleton, Richard Gaisford, Jonathan Swain, Cordelia Kretzschmar, Sue Jameson or Helen Fospero are probably the only suitable stand-in's for the Newshour.

While I must say I am looking forward to seeing how ITV handles the "new" Daybreak - and I do like the American-ness of the new logo - this bandying about of presenter/reporter names and intense discussion of possible rotas is quite mind-numbingly tedious. No offence and all that. Xxx.

Then don't participate.

To clarify the 6-8:30 part will just be called Daybreak not Newshour and Today.

The Lorraine logo is similar but in pink and orange (forming peach) and the round ball (sun) is on the right of the logo.

Has that not been let out yet?

It's a shame the logos will be similar, the Lorraine branding at the moment is solid.

I'm just wondering why it's something that warrants in-depth discussion, that's all. Surely on a forum such as this we should be speculating about the presentation... the graphics, the set, the music... but there seems to be a hell of a lot of talking about whose going to fill in for who on what day. Fair enough if that's what you all want to talk about, but I'd figure the presentation aspect was more of a talking point than that. The discussion in this thread just seems to be disproportionate. I'm not intending to start an argument, it's just an observation...

Is the music changing or staying the same? I'd be quite sad to see the music go, its quite good and the tune does stick in your head which, for brand awareness, is helpful.

I can't see what you're on about, everything's the same as it was just without the site content!
