I want to see what Lightwell are capable of outside of their BBC work. I think due to the nature of the show, the history ITVbreakfast have as far as offering a lighter alternative in the morning, the presenters and the fact that this is ITV (and Lightwell will, most probably, be eager to try and steer clear of a BBC clone), we could be seeing something interesting come out of this.
I would be surprised if they create just one set for Daybreak, Lorraine and Loose Women. Fair enough for Daybreak and Lorraine, but Daybreak is tarnished enough without brushing it with Loose Women filth.

Excuse my ignorance, but Studio 3 isn't HD at the moment, having watched Lorraine. When is it getting fitted out and how long does it take to upgrade equipment, circuits etc.?

The refurb of St3 to HD working over the summer is due to be completed anytime soon, possibly next week. The rest of TLS' technical infrastructure (apart from St8) is already HD equipped and operational. HD distribution circuits have been in place for several years.

Again my ignorance, but is Lorraine's show (currently without Lorraine!!) in a different studio? The same one or different one to Let's Do Lunch?

Thanks for reply and info too!

Anyone else noticed that the sofa on 'Lorraine' has been replaced this week by armchairs for the guests? Makes me wonder if the sofa is going to the new set.

Jack Morton would have been a good guy to get in to design the set, his work on both Good Morning America and Channel 7's Sunrise was excellent!

I think I'm in love with the News desk from CTV's 2010 Olympic coverage. Embarassed

Comment from ITV:
'Lorraine will continue to present her successful weekday show, Lorraine, after Daybreak each morning Monday to Thursday from 8.30am to 9.25am,'

So what's happening Fridays?

The same as always I'd assume? Guest presenters....

I wouldn't be surprised at all to ultimately see Lorraine drop Thursdays as a trade off for the earlier starts on Daybreak.
