Daybreak: With Lorraine Kelly and Aled Jones

It looks more likely Dan is leaving as I can't see him returning to sport because he's more well known now. Kate will probably present the 6am hour and in place of Lorraine on Friday's etc. Leaving Gavin on sport and Steve on entertainment. Helen on the newsdesk maybe?

Will they even cover sport with the direction the programme is going? It will just be tagged onto the end of the news when there is a worthy story as it is now.

Nevertheless, that's all of Daybreak's original presenters now gone bar Kate who has survived yet another mass cull! Genuinely don't know how she has done it.

And Lorraine confirms in her tweet she will continue Lorraine from 8.30

Can we assume that they will be keeping the name Daybreak, since it was mentioned numerous times in the press release?

ITV said in 2010 that Adrian & Christine had joined GMTV.

Interesting - and she'll probably do it even less now she does the main show too. Not sure what to make of that though - seems like this might not be as big a shake up as some people were expecting if that's the case.

Worth noting that on Dan's Twitter, he chose to leave Daybreak and decided this sometime ago, but has stated that ITV have been supportive of him, he won't be going until later in the year.

Just out of interest, what was the name of Aled's early morning breakfast show on Radio 2?

I believe 'Good Morning Sunday'.

For the set, is it all the same and going to be re-dressed and re-lit for each show, or are is it going to be two/three separate sets?
