This re-launch is being kept so low key. There are no announcements, there seems like there is no media interest and there is no confirmation on the full team yet, who's in, who's out etc. We still don't know if and what Kate's role is, when Dan is leaving etc.
I guess ITV have learned their lesson after the fanfare original launch of Daybreak, though if they want viewers to tune in to the relaunched show maybe they should consider telling viewers when and what is happening!

I bet once the Olympics are over we will start to see changes, holidays for the people who are due to start september and people due to leave on air that bit more. im sure ITV will run a promo but it probably wouldn't air much before the weekend before.

They'll probably just push a few adverts closer to the time, maybe get Lorraine back on This Morning etc to promote it a bit. Then they're probably hoping the audience will grow rather than start big and fall into oblivion like last time. I wouldn't be surprised to see the bulk of the advertising air during X Factor, particularly if they aim for a more showbiz slant between 7-8.30am and the contestants usually appear on the show anyway.
It's hard to imagine that there are only 5 weeks left of Daybreak in its current form.

I agree with the comments above I think they will probably show a couple of promo's with the new on-screen graphic's toward's the end of the month, just before the re-launch. I get the impression that ITV are trying to keep the re-launch as low key as possible learning from the mistakes of the original launch with the big fanfare.
However, as Jamesrl says there is still many unanswered questions surrounding the presenting team come September onwards. Apart from the announcements made, Kate Garraway's role is still unclear. In addition, we do not know what's going to happen with the news presenter role or even who will be the main relief presenters for Lorraine and Aled.
Also, even though Alex Beresford decided not to join Daybreak, Lucy Verasamy is still due to move onto ITV National weather. There was a rumour that Fred Talbot was going to present Daybreak forecasts from Salford (ironic considering the BBC relocated there in April). It was also refreshing to see Helen again fronting Daybreak. I know I've gone on a billion times but, surely they have to give her a role (although everyboby is entitled to their own opinions.)
On the rating's front on Friday, Daybreak barely manage to attract 600,000 compared to BBC Breakfast's impressive 1.7 million. I could potentially see the programme's ratings declining to 400-500,000 during the course of the olympics which could attract some negative publicity something producers will not want in the run up to the re-launch.

Kate will probably return to Friday's to keep a degree of continuity, Helen will probably do the newshour when Ranvir doesn't (especially considering Ranvir is a new mum, so might be on Monday-Friday) with Ranvir/Helen splitting the newsreader role for 7am onwards. They shouldn't need one before then. Would be amazed to see Helen go, especially as they now prefer to use Nadia on Lorraine.
Re. weather- if Fred was to do it from Salford it would make it even more ironic considering that BBC Breakfast weather still comes from London!

Ross Hutchinson, Anglia Weather is moving to a region in the north to become a full time weather presenter. I'm
not sure exactly on the presenting situation but if Ross moved to Granada Fred could be then freed up from his Granada Report duties to present the weather.
