Anyone else think they've gone overboard with this Justin Bieber nonsense this morning.

On that note, what's a Justin Bieber?

I agree, it was too much but he's the current kid/teen idol that will be forgotten in 2 years so they had to cash in on him too.

Lorraine's set looks nice with Christmas decoration.

Maybe they need a Christmas version on the Intro

As far as I know there's 2 intros they can use and cut, not a separate Christmas one. I hope to god there's not a christmas opening with bells, it'd just be awful.

Not sure if this has been mentioned elsewhere, but whilst the audiences are getting better for Daybreak, the AI figures are woeful. The AI is the Audience Appreciation or Audience Interest scores, and rates the show based on how much the audience watching a show actually like it or appreciate it. This is of interest because shows with quite low figures on BBC Two or Channel Four can have very high AIs (because the small audience watching the show really like it)

However the bottom 4 shows of the bottom 5 AI score slots in w/c Mon 22nd Nov were editions of Daybreak...

This means that these 4 editions of Daybreak were the least appreciated shows that were broadcast that week... They may have an audience, but their audience didn't particularly appreciate what they were watching. (They were all around the 62-65% mark)

(Interestingly a lot of the high AI scoring shows are US imports (True Blood, Law and Order, CSI) with Merlin and the Edwardian Farm being the highest scoring UK shows on 90 and 89% respectively.)

Doesn't Lorraine's set always look better, it has a lovely cosy, well lit, open space without relying on a view. Obviously Daybreak will look a million pounds better in the spring/summer.

Is it wrong if they had a Christmas opening/sting?

I do think Daybreak's trees & decoration look terrible. What are those horrible bauball dangling things? The presents in the window look lovely, but the trees & additions a bit rubbish. This Morning have it quite right, as said so does Lorraine, but is it because they are different types of set?

It does look like they've gone mad with the number of trees in Lorraine's set.

That looks far classier than Daybreak's tacky look. They should get rid of those awful baubles that from a distance, look like left over bits of tinsel just draped over the panels to use them up. Having just met the right balance with the set in recent weeks, they have thrown that into jeopardy now with some shoddy decs! Tree's were nice tho!

Ahh, this was more like it! Tasteful to some extent! *
