That's ridiculous. Any 10 year old would know who voices Homer Simpson.

But the last 2 are only short term things. The Daybreak brand will become even more recognisable and probably gain a more positive image and it has a very well known brand: 'ITV' behind it. The current presenters won't always be there, whether they're there 6 months or 2 years they will change and the 3rd point won't be relevant (if it is now)
There's no reason why Daybreak couldn't beat the BBC in the ratings, especially when they go up to Salford
In the end, 'ITV Breakfast Ltd' are never going to beat BBC Breakfast in the ratings for the simple reasons:
*They don't have the 7-day audience reach.
*They don't have the brand of a recognised company.
*BBC Licence Payers OBJECT to their home-grown 'stars' being stolen. (Not that I agree with the definition)

The problem with Daybreak is lack of news, I only tune in from just before 7am until after the regional update at a quarter past. I am shocked at the lack of news. Two or three stories with Tasmin is not enough tbh and the paper review is not really what I would like to see. I want to know whats happening in the morning news wise.
JO
I'd say Tasmin does more than two or three stories. It's more like six or seven, and in that time Tasmin goes through a few headlines, theres two or three VTs, plus some live's.
The paper review is perfect IMO. You're never going to get the BBC Breakfast approach of hard news, so the paper review works well, its layed back but informative. To be honest the paper review on Sky News Sunrise is very similar.

My only problem with the Paper review is why is usually only on at 6.10am? That's fine if you're always up that early, but I am not 9 times out of 10.

Bloody hell. Anyone see the ticker they had this morning!? I strained my eyes! So unclear. It was about about half the size of the clock (just the clock without Daybreak logo). Purple text on a white-ish background. Another problem, half the ticker background was a fadeout to the right! You could only see the word, as it was disappearing! Didn't look good at all. HOWEVER, their coverage of the snow has been pretty good.

I think they tried to fit it in with their other graphics with the right hand fade out, and disappearing in line with the straps, even though it sat beneath the clock. The yellow strap made it stand out, but it was quite small. It also meant that they have to use shorter name straps as the usual second line was removed for the ticker.

Maybe in spring/Summer Daybreak should do a week of the show abroad like Australian seven sunrise did last week
WA
I've watched a few clips of Sunrise in Hawaii - it looked like fun, shame we don't have Daybreak with the same format - but Im sure Sunrise has a larger budget than ITV give Daybreak.

If anything, they ought to be going out abroad somewhere sunny to cheer people up in the winter.
