Yes but the idea with the Big Breakfast was that the song was a sing-a-along, the Daybreak song isn't really the same thing.

Does anyone remember the first day when Kate, Dan and Lucy were sitting round the sofa, there was plenty of news/current affairs features and people like Sue Jameson in the studio talking about the stories , they had good interviews and the ratings were not that bad.

No..

They promised "plenty of news/current affairs features!"......

Paul Gambaccini and Esther Rantzen? I get the feeling that The Guardian are desperate for angles on the Daybreak story

I thought the set was good today. I can't get over the number of panels in use at the moment! Tasmin has them, and the sofa window was almost one giant panel! Much warmer I think! I notice they are continuing to use the camera angle created last week where the presenter's background is the clock wall - better than a black window imo. Am I right in thinking they have moved the sofa's around (angle) so that the clock wall can be seen more clearly in the new camera shot?

Quick question - Does anyone know who designed Lorraine's set??

Both sets were designed by Jonathan Paul Green.

They've moved the right hand sofa at a slight angle, both so the clock is in the background but also so that Adrian and Christine appear closer to guests (or at least that's how it was when I caught it last week).

At 7:30-08:00 (the only part I see) they were back using the window view this morning, obviously because due to the clocks changing it is now daylight outside at 7:30 again.

Director Erron Gordon's twitter:

Colour tweaks happened last Friday. Bigger set "tweaks" to come in the next few weeks. Wink

It's interesting that Half term did affect the ratings of Daybreak, yesterday

Daybreak averaged 817,000 including ITV1 HD, share of 17.8% of the audience.

Breakfast got double that. Article: http://www.guardian.co.uk/media/2010/nov/02/little-house-tv-ratings

Wrong -

Jonathan Paul Green did Daybreak

And BDA Creative (Jago's company) did Lorraine

Nope - Lorraine was a Simon Jago set. (He's now part of BDA)
