I've noticed they've moved the camera angles so that prior to dawn you can see the big clock behind them. They've also increased the lighting around this. Looks a lot better than it did. They've also put new backs onto the sofa, clearly to stop them from slouching. Not sure why there is an over load of orange squares behind the newsreader, the one that was there was enough.
Finally, they should really consider moving the weather to a CSO. The videowall with the clear breaks in between is nice in a retro way for performances and other standing up bits but it just isn't very practical.
Thought I'd record Daybreak this morning so I could see how it's changed. It is a lot better than the first episode, lots of the gimmicks have gone and the whole thing flows so much better. The yellow wall/clock background is nice.
It's actually not a bad programme now, it does have quite a GMTV feel to it in places but far less pedestrian.
What a stupid article. The whole thing makes out that the show will be axed until the last paragraph that says ITV bosses have dismissed the claim.
I struggle to believe the show would be axed in four weeks time; it would have been a complete waste of money and what would go in its place? The new year I suspect will see a revamp that will make the show very GMTV and probably without AC and CB.
Yes, what exactly would 'sources in Dublin' know about it!?
I don't think there's any chance of the programme just disappearing, it will almost certainly change - whether it's different presenters, different format or different name. They will change it until it does work but axing the whole thing isn't an option
