When GMTV first failed(Michael Wilson & Fiona Armstrong era), didn't Lorraine come back onto the main show for a bit, before the Pieman was teamed up with Anthea Turner?

(She was doing her 'After Nine' type slot when GMTV first started wasn't she?)

To be fair to the 'Mirror', how do we know that the plans they described weren't being discussed at the time and then later changed?

I'm sure alot of ideas were thrown around before they came up with the current format.

This article was discussed at the time it was published, but basically it's the title that makes it a load of nonsense:

"ITV to merge This Morning, GMTV and ITN to make 'super show'"

If it had said "ITV to merge This Morning and GMTV, with ITN as the news provider", it would have been more plausible.

How about they just replace Adrian Chiles for someone with personality?

Any truth in this? its gone FULL circle if seen ends up back fronting the show, there should call this new show TVAM

Daybreak is already closing the gap in year on year decline after just one month,

There must be disappointment that this is the best claim they can make after the first few weeks!
