They could have had that ad break earlier in the show, cut into the wedding! Kate kept talking so the sting was played twice.

With the announcement about the change in studio, will they return to the old GMTV studio or move in with Lorraine?
Would The Loose Women use the current Daybreak studio?

I've no real problem with the content of the show (I'd like more local news), but I just can't stand Kate Garraway - her voice and her attitude is really off putting.

I think loose women wound be good in that studio but they have only just had a new set and where would the audience sit?

and I agree about Kate but I think that Dan is twice as bad. GET RID OF HIM DAYBREAK!!!

I think it's already been mentioned that it is going into studio 3, and it will be big. It will therefore share with Lorraine, unless Lorraine takes over daybreak. I presume loose women will also come from studio 3, it has no problem sharing with Lorraine currently, so should not be affected by an earlier airing programme.

I don't think Loose Women worked when it previously came from what is now the daybreak studio. In fact halfway through the run they moved it into studio 3 with a London skyline backdrop.

What does this comment relate to? There is nothing on the previous page about weddings or stings playing twice.

This morning, they held a beach wedding, apparently the first in the uk that took place in a marque on a beach in Bournemouth. Half way through the wedding they cut back to the studio to say that they had to have a break.
I actually agree with Daniel's comment, after running it as a competition, and finally getting to the wedding, to then interrupt it for an ad break seemed an odd move.

"Do you take this person to be your lawful wedded wife?" - "Hold that thought, we'll find out after the break. Now here's the chance to win some cash!"

Front page news though!

1. Whatever Page 7 says better be right, if they (the daily mirror ) know anything, or they may regret putting that on the front page.
2. Is there not a more important story, like todays siege in London for example.

Having zoomed in they say it will be replaced by a GMTV style show hosted by Lorraine with Kate and Dan!!
It's by the writer who broke the news about Adrian and Christine's departure last year and she also broke the news a few months ago that Lorraine was talking over as main presenter.

Its probably the right move because they can start with a clean slate and have a clear focus with no baggage, but now they're stuck between a rock and a hard place in terms of branding. It would be dangerous to attempt yet another new brand, but they could get slated for bringing back an old brand. That said, I don't think Daybreak would have ever worked especially not whilst BBC Breakfast is in the position it is in and they'll be fighting a very long and uphill battle.

It could be referring to Lorraine not starting until 7am, so Kate would do 6-7 rather than all three together. I wouldn't mind three presenters though, it would shake the format up a bit which is really what it needs!
