Anoilyrag, Cross Channel or Pete, are you going to post any further updates re the date of the relaunch? Also possible co-hosts with Lorraine? (ok so maybe pushing my luck with the second question).
My reliable source suggests John McCririck will be on the sofa with Lorraine from June, with Phil Bodmer of Look North taking over Lorraine's slot with his new show called 'Phil'.
I'd find a different "source" if I was you. Doesn't sound too reliable!
Nadia Sawalha is now officially part of the ITV Breakfast family, rather than an occasional Friday presenter, with her new cooking show taking Lorraine's place on Saturday!
That's strange they have always (as far as I am aware) come from Londons Studio. But I imagine it's quite a rush getting up to Londom Studio in less than 10 minutes. Did anyone see what happened last week?

The same thing happened last week, started last Monday when the opt times moved.
TV critic Richard Arnold, 42, is in talks to return to the morning slot he was axed from two years ago.
The “news hour”, which was also axed from the Daybreak format but was a central part of GMTV, will return as well as potential other stars from the previous breakfast show.
The Daybreak makeover, which has been discussed and planned since the exit of Adrian Chiles and Chrisine Bleakley last year, will finally take shape in the next month.

These are not new "facts" - you have just copied and pasted statements from an article that is nearly a fortnight old and was discussed in here at the time it was published!
Daybreak is to be uprooted from its state-of-the-art, river-view studio when ITV Studios revamps the show later this year.
Broadcast understands the breakfast programme will be moved to another facility within the ITV London Studios complex on South Bank after more than 18 months in its current location.
As well as ushering in a soft relaunch, the move is a cost-saving measure as the plan is for Daybreak to share a studio with sister show Lorraine.
The Daybreak studio launched with much fanfare and helped move ITV1’s breakfast output into HD for the first time.
“We spent good money bringing this view to you, so I’m glad you can see it,” then host Adrian Chiles said on Daybreak’s first broadcast.
The studio featured a sweeping glass backdrop overlooking the Thames and St Paul’s Cathedral, but the view was thrown into darkness during winter months.
The problem became so bad that ITV is reported to have asked that St Paul’s be floodlit for an extra three hours every weekday.
ITV’s plans for the new studio are not known, but are likely to reflect some of the warmer reds and oranges that now feature on the show. “Creative renewal is ongoing and a number of changes are being considered,” a spokeswoman said.
Despite tinkering from Daybreak’s new editor David Kermode, the programme’s ratings have edged down year on year.
It has averaged overnights of 694,500 (17.51% share) so far this year, compared with 753,600 (18.18%) for the same period in 2011.
Talk about a complete about turn, GMTV may as well just come back now.
I think renaming the show back to GMTV would be a good move. Daybreak sounds nicer, but publicity wise, GMTV would certainly bump up the figures, if only briefly as people flock to see what the 2012 GMTV would be like. With any luck, the viewers would stay - although this was also the plan back in September 2010 with Daybreak. Chiles once said that he regretted the hype they created for Daybreak, and how they expected people to love the program instantly. That said, GMTV would generate enough hype in itself without ITV having to invest in a billboard campaign, expensive adverts etc. Its almost a natural progression now to go to GMTV. Although I disagree with bringing back old face, especially Arnold. What is done, is done.
People did love the programme instantly though. Just look at the first couple of pages on this thread. Lots of praise for the first show, apart from the niggles that we thought would be easily ironed out...
