I've always thought having Local Headlines after the National Headlines would make sense, especially if there was a more seamless way (rather than a 4 second sting) of going from National to Local.
They used to run after the TOTH because the presenters would do their coming up/headlines then the news sting would tail that and the national news would come one, then local news would be after that? Although by the end they changed this because, if we look here http://tvnewsroom.co.uk/itv/gmtv-the-final-farewell-7212/ they launch straight into their top story and here- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e93g_7xkPRc&feature=related is when the last national update was, don't know about the local?
Regional opts on Daybreak will change to 0607, 0632 and 0732 from tomorrow.
I know they need to change Daybreak to make it more successful but all the changes seem to be poorly thought.... why no regional bulletins after the news at the TOTH at 7 or 8?
It was bad enough when Daybreak started (6.15, 6.45, 7.15) but at least they were at regular times. Keep them at 15 past each hour I say - at least you know when they're on...

Changing the colour of the logo worked out so well. It does seem these are changes for changes sake - and anyone really wanting regional news in the morning is surely going to go to the BBC knowing that with the exception of the 6.07 bulletin (I assume, I'm not up that early) the BBC get theirs in before the bottom of the hour.

GMTV had local news at 6:35, 7:05, 8:05 unless that changed just before it ended! I think? Because then daybreak brought them forward 6:35 became 6:15, 7:05 became 7:15 and 8:05 became 7:45!
