And Sue - why didn't they run her report in the first hour? And also, it does seem like old news (mainly from Saturday) to lead on to me.
I see Kate has now shown up for the 7 o'clock top of the hour

True.. But I see they've not dumbed down on the questions! 'How long is a century?'
Competitions seem better, whilst I suppose there've got to have them, Daybreak's seem a lot less in your face - just more to the point. No Keith Chegwin too!

Yeah I suppose so, but you always get ridicolously easy questions. Mabye it's just as it's the 1st day , but from what I can see only once an hour isn't too bad. GMTV's seemed like it was every 15 minutes!
Also notice there doing much less "Live's" Only one so far i think - much more in the studio - Better really ! Like that apparent Daybreak "handbook" said - a lot of them are a bit pointless and unnesssary . Better to have say John Stapleton in the studio than outside a random building in rain or whatever.

Pretty pleased that the competitions aren't long, the VTs used to get on my nerves when they were on GMTV.
As for Daybreak overall, I like it. I was always wary of Adrian and Christine but I have to say I can see their chemistry and I do quite like them, but Adrian seems awkward in his reading of the autocue. The set is amazing, looks much better on screen. The music sticks in your head too!

I liked the whole TOTH will the editiors on the sofa. I also ejoy having the correspondant on the sofa after their reports. The 'Next' traps are good also - it seems rather like a rolling news station!
