I will say this, the new sting I believe is actually a new cut, made by Daybreak themselves.
The 'new' into break sting was part of the original package of music composed for the programme it has been unused until the new editor wanted to change the into break sequence to avoid the constant repetition of the same sting in and out, dropping the sting was tried and didn't work hence the use of this short sting into break. You may or may not have noticed that the out of opt sting is also slightly different from the out of break sting.

All speculation in the media about new presenters has gone quiet - even the Daily Mail have left it go! Do we know if there is Defintely a relaunch taking place with new hosts and when? Or maybe Kate and Dan will continue hosting? I like Kate hosting, always have, but as I've said before, I do not rate Dan in this role.
There will be new hosts announced but no news as yet. There will be a new set in the coming months also so keep watching.
The ratings for the end of last week are on par with the same time last year with Lorraine actually getting higher ratings than the same time last year.

Today we saw the return of the usual titles, the title card was the same purple one as before the festivities but with the yellow logo plastered over the top..
Err except it wasn't plastered over the top, it was just replaced with the new logo. I think the logo comes up not as part of the titles but as part of the graphics system, as in the first few weeks it used to stay on screen for a few seconds more when they had that long camera shot.
