I have to say, ITV Breakfast companies/shows come up with some really catchy theme tunes. I've had the Daybreak theme stuck in my head all day.
I can't wait until they go back to showing the normal version of the opening titles - these winter titles are just like any other show that spends a small fortune creating a really professional, well-paced title sequence, and then goes cheap when it comes to making variants for the different seasons. You can just tell with these winter titles that the same amount of thought and effort hasn't gone into them.
Incidentally I have a file that I renamed 'Daybreak - Back from break' from the original shortened file name, but I've never heard it used. Did they ditch it at the last minute?

They used it for the first few weeks if we are on about the same file.

And what makes you doubt that? Only reason I would want the ITV Breakfast package(s) is because they contain fantastic pieces of music that I'd love to have a copy of clean!

The 'new' into break sting was part of the original package of music composed for the programme it has been unused until the new editor wanted to change the into break sequence to avoid the constant repetition of the same sting in and out, dropping the sting was tried and didn't work hence the use of this short sting into break. You may or may not have noticed that the out of opt sting is also slightly different from the out of break sting.
