extremely unlikely. I would imagine the bosses think she's a poor newsreader frankly. She was lucky to survive her coverage in The Sun that completely dented her credibility

Kirsty McCabe and Steve Hargrave replied to Tasmin's tweet and seemed surprised that tomorrow was her last day. Tasmin says in her tweet she leaves the show in the capable hands of "David & Karl" - assume she is talking about David Kermode and Karl Newton who may have something to do with Tasmin's sudden departure?! *speculation*
I can only hopefully presume that the reason it's taking so long to announce the new presenting team is because they are searching long and hard for the best presenters that will have the best charisma and chemistry on screen.
Well things do seem to be moving in a direction, quite what that is leading to I'm unsure but unlike the previous year and a bit it looks at least like they've got a plan.
Strictly from an anorak point of view, but it is disappointing to see that almost all the programme is coming from the sofa now, doesn't really bode well if any set changes are to follow.
Also the weather seems to be permanently outside on the roof now, just like Breakfast used to stick carol in the Blue Peter garden. But that was somewhat shielded from the elements unlike an exposed rooftop terrace on the south bank of the Thames, camera was shaking about today not to mention the wind noise.
The more news focus between 6 and 7 is much better. The studio also looks okay, warmer and the logo works better than the purple did. Still needs tweaked though. They also used a new sting today for ad breaks which was quite nice and simple.

Absolutely no mention of Tasmin leaving on today's programme. Kate seemed to be very frosty with her, no interaction at all between Kate & Dan and Tasmin. Felt a bit tense to me.

What a shame. I was going to come on here and ask if anyone had a video of them saying goodbye to Tasmin but it appears she didn't even get a mention? That's unbelievable.
