Daybreak - the launch onwards

I have to agree: there's something kind of "intangible" about the logo. I don't know why, and I can't quite put my finger on it.

However, the studio and the set isn't quite so bad, to be honest. Us tv junkies will never be happy with anything, but the set is - on reflection - rather fine.

Haven't seen any output continuously enough to properly comment on the actual "content". So, would be unfair to comment.

In this video someone mentions that it reminds them of the GMTV 1993 titles. Now that I think about it, the normal titles do remind me of the 1993 titles

I thought that was Lucy Watson who is going to NY. The above tweet makes it clear that she will no longer work in any capacity for Daybreak.

I know they signed Piers, but honestly would they?... Not surprised she got the boot.

With Tasmin leaving and Lucy Watson off to New York, maybe Michelle Morrison will present the heads or even Cordelia?

If she's been sacked, I'm surprised. She's the most likeable out of all the news presenters I've seen on Daybreak, and it allowed the viewer to associate at least one person as a constant throughout the programme. And by the way, just before anyone does any cheap jokes or anything, I'm not saying that because of how she looks. It's the way she delivers the news, it's just better than the others for some reason

extremely unlikely. I would imagine the bosses think she's a poor newsreader frankly. She was lucky to survive her coverage in The Sun that completely dented her credibility

Fingers crossed that there will be no more news presenter.
