an idea for the new logo. Get the current one, recolour it and have a orange gradient towards the right. Make the left side of the logo a half circle, make the bottom right curved, add a slight curve to the top right. Few bevel/glossy effects. Should be ok
I mean the sow is called 'Kate' and all she talks about is TV etc and not all the other stuff on Lorraine, And 'Dan' does the Sport in more detail than Daybreak

Well the video wall is made by NEC, it's the MultiSync X461UN. Any chance that could be the screen from behind the couch too?
Actually, to keep TLS7, make a new GMTV style set and build it in TLS7 using the real view as a, real view! Where the Daybreak News Desk is would be the stairs and the special blinds can be used to block out extra light, then weather can be at the video wall and news desk at the Sports Desk!
If the logo is now that awful yellow, does that mean that the 'Daybreak' typography will now be coloured black? Won't that look FOUL and completely uninviting?
Could they be using a different colour for the title text, such as a dark orange or red, rather than opting for black. It would tie up the blinds with the sofa at least. It will seem a more of a morning set of colours, or even just colour, but I will miss the purple. There was something daring about the purple, something different & modern about it.
