I wouldn't be suprised.
I hadn't thought of that. Although as has been seen, the presenter does not make the show, it does help somewhat. Surely Sian would encourge some BBC Breakfast viewers to switch? Of course if the content was improved that is. Only problem would it be a repeat of what we've seen with A&C ? Fairly high profile BBC name jumping ship and the ultimate failure that usually comes with it.
Would they try and ship in Kaplinksy seeing that she's hanging around at ITV these days?
I wouldn't be suprised.
Sian leaving Breakfast next year. Maybe a jump of ship?

Don't know where you are getting the 'Adrian and Christine axed' reports from. Yes Christine is hosting Dancing On Ice next year, but if the reports are true, then the only reason Bleakley will be presenting DOI is because Holly Willoughby has gone to the Beeb to host 'The Voice'.
Axing Chiles and Bleakley would not be the option for Daybreak. The content of the show still needs a kick up the backside, and they need to establish a smaller and more efficient team.
A friendlier look in the mornings (i.e. red and purple), accompanied by cleaner-cut, more simple graphics and an inviting, warm set might make it look and feel more 'approachable'.
Though still at ITV, they still think they have a decent show. Hopefully, Kermode can come in and give the show the refresh it so desperately needs.

Agreed but at least with Sian there would not be a load of hype and hysteria surrounding her unlike Adrian and Christine. She is also a much more credible figure in the world of journalism compared to Adrian and Christine.

Seems a quite likely scenario. I don't think Christine or Adrian will be too devastated - he's probably happy with the football and weekly show and she's now got a decent prime time gig. They've both been kicked to the ground since the 'will she, won't she' contract issue and rumours over their salary. They were staring at an uphill battle since before launch, it was maybe inevitable. I don't watch Daybreak but I get the sense it's pretty much GMTV again? If so, it's probably a world away from the type of show Adrian was promised it would be. Good luck to both them and Daybreak I say.

I bet ITV were going to confirm that Christine would be DOI's host then, but they heard about the Mirror's front page and decided to release that information earlier today.

But if she got the offer too?
I can't see Sian leaving the BBC at all - besides, I think she has 5Live and BBC News relief slots lined up to keep her busy.
But if she got the offer too?
