confuzion ... basicly ... If your woundering ... Havent ask you ... watchng ... a audience profile

I think James may just have had a seizure and punched his computer screen.

I don't rellay care for your stupid sarcastic comments and I think you will find your breaking the forum rules as well as being very Immature.

Now to get the topic back to Daybreak i thought that todays show was very good and someone said earlier in the thread that it lacks warmth no it does not Ac + Cb have a very good chemistry together and bring this warmness on screen.

But someone get Miss Sieoge off daybreak she is awful I just feel like switching over when I watch her reports as a presenter she is bareable but as a reporter she is dreadful.

Tamsin is also getting better she didant fluff any lines when i seen her today and asked good questions in a live up with richard gaitsford and I think she will do very well.

I can't see your post very well for the cracks in the liquid crystal but from what I can see you're blindly defending a programme and just simply stating you don't like people. Grainne Seoige has more experience probably than the lead female on the programme and certainly at Sky was a more than capable journalist.

Mind this is like trying to tell a corpse who won't believe that they're dead, that they are in fact dead.

WOW, WELL DONE!! TAMSIN DIDN'T FLUFF ANY LINES!! Big congratulations for someone managing to do their f*cking job as a newsreader!!!

This is true, it would be terrible if someone pointed out all the stupidity in your latest post.

Good point. Someone also said that Breakfast lacks warmth but I like Bill & Sian so they are wrong.

I'm sure you are bareable as a village idiot, but as a forum member you are dreadful.

It's good to know she has your backing. If she didant I am sure she would cry.

I'm sure they are "thinking out" their thoughts. I'm adamn't (since we seem to be swapping punctuation) that forumers are currently dreaming up ways in which to disable your computer as we speak. I'm certainly in contact with Mahmoud Ahmedinejad to borrow one of his ICBMs for your IP.

He's a surprisingly nice bloke - well groomed and all that

Sounds fun Smile as I missed some of daybreak this morning could you please explain how that has anything to do with daybreak?

I was impressed with the dimming windows this morning

When the band was on this moring they turned almost black, and when they cut back to A&C they quickly changed back to clear revealing the view outside

And I've sort of got used to seeing reflections before it get's light now, and it's only what The One has to cope with when it goes light to dark (albeit Daybreak seem to have more tech involved with their glass)

Right - I've had enough of this.

IT'S TASMIN!

Her name is a nothing, she is nothing.

Bill Turnball? Now he's good.

And ginofish - it had plenty to do with Daybreak. Ahmedinejad was on this morning performing his new single, "I'll Be Seein' Em on the Dancefloor." Released just in time for the end of the world.

she is nothing, charmed I'm sure Shocked

easy mistake to make Tasmin / Tamsin

some of you are being a bit harsh, it's not even had a week yet, how good was GMTV in it's first week of 1993, or TVAM in it's first week of 1983 for that matter

Both were crap. You'd think they'd have learned, then

To say that the opening titles are clichéd is to say that everyday life is clichéd. It's what people do in the mornings - jog, walk the dog, make breakfast. There's no getting away from it. What would you do? Depict some alternate made-up reality just so that you can say it's never been shown on TV before?

Eh? who says it has to 'depict reality' at all?
Do the titles of BBC Breakfast, The One Show, Loose Women, or TVam, The Big Breakfast etc. show real life?

It did look a little like a Media Studies project to me.... except much better shot

Do the titles of BBC Breakfast connect with the audience?

I don't think the Daybreak titles are great by any means - they're much too metropolitan in my opinion. I would have preferred something gentler and more inspirational like the Breakfast Time titles, which depicted a variety of job roles and ambiguous locations, compared to Daybreak's legion of office workers and blatantly south eastern settings. To be fair though, ITV haven't had long to put Daybreak together and there'll plenty of time in the future to make some more polished opening titles.

The One Show is only on-air for 30 mins at the same time of day (7pm) all year round, and so only has to cope with a limited range of sun positions.

The One Show also have large HMIs rigged to light the other buildings you can see through the windows, as well as the the trees, when the show transmits in darkness. Reflections are far less of a problem if the view through the window is lit, if the outside is dark the windows turn into mirrors. Because the bulk of the view through the windows is close to the studio (and is BBC owned) it can be lit relatively easily.

Daybreak has a huge vista which would need to be lit to achieve the same result - though I wouldn't be surprised if they were trying to negotiate with St Pauls.
