Daybreak - the launch onwards

It could be a height thing. On NBC's TODAY, for example, female presenters tend to stand at the 'news desk' but the men always sit, presumably as they're taller it would push them out of frame.

Yeah I know Lucy Meacock has to stand on a box on Granada Reports if her and Tony are standing up so it looks better on screen.

Just like what Nina Hossain had to do when presenting the Evening News with Mark Austin back in the theatre-of-news days.

I don't know if they have been like it for long as I haven't seen daybreak in about 2 weeks now but I really like the regional plasma screens with their new look and the local weather new look sting. Its a lot better than that purple gradient they had

Does Adrian appear on this show at all anymore?? It's always Dan when I tune in.

I don't normally watch Daybreak, but happened to catch it on Monday.

Who was the dark haired bird presenting with Adrian, as it wasn't Christine? (Not as toothy as CB!)

Lucy Watson, North of England Correspondent and relief News presenter. She has covered on the sofa a few times now.

It may be an article by the 'Daily Fail' but perhaps Daybreak might be doing something about Adrian and Christine sooner than we all thought..

I agree probably another one of those articles from the Daily Mail that you always's have to treat with a pinch of salt. However, if there any validity in the reports executives might be trying to reposition the show for the New Year. I must admit I thoroughly enjoyed watching Helen Fospero presenting Daybreak on Friday alongside Dan. She was very professsional and did a great job. It would be interesting to see if she get's a chance to present alongside Adrian.

If ITV producers did decide to axe Adrian and Christine from the programme I would really like to see Helen getting the main anchor role. I would also like to see more of John Stapleton presenting the programme as well. It will be fascinating to see what happens over the next few weeks regarding the future of Daybreak. As I've always's said it's not the presenter's it is the content that need's improved.

I agree, the weather graphics are pretty bad and the fact that you can see the edges in the background makes the whole thing look a bit shoddy overall...
