Daybreak - the launch onwards

There are just no new ideas anymore.

Kier Simmons is today presenting Daybreak alongside Kate, I wonder if we will have a new female presenter soon so it's 'Christine & Adrian', 'Dan & Kate' & 'Kier & _____'.

Kier is doing a wonderful job presenting the show in my opinion.

..was the little treat Kate Garraway announcing that Lorraine was coming up next? Has Lorraine taken up playing World Cup Rugby?

Well, Stuart, many people oft refer to the fact that she does always seem to be carrying two rugby balls around with her all the time........................much lauded on t'internet, you know!

He was very wooden and lacked any form of chemistry with Kate or anyone else. I, for one, doubt we'll see him again on the programme. Not good at all. Boring and uncharismatic.

Kate didn't even know his name - she read out an email that a viewer had sent in about him and called him Karl. He had to tell her it was 'Keir' as she didn't even realise she'd said it!

Yes, he looked very uncomfortable, he's not a natural presenter.

Dan Lobb is the best presenter in my view.

Now you know why she can't do her show on Fridays. Kier was wooden today.

He was so bad that I didn't even recognise him from his delivery. He needs to be back out reporting.

I have a hunch the window to the left of the sofa may be replaced by a wall again from Monday...
