I've been informed of a new title sequence in October, can you verify this?

I love the current title sequence Sad

You've been informed wrong. No new titles - graphics tweaks in a week or so.

So, whats with the heavy use of this new backdrop with the blue sky and lots of UK landmarks? It's used on the website, on the plasmas and videowall - yet it won't be somehow incorporated into the opening sequence? That just sounds messy!

They'll probably replace the current title-card with that though, don't you think?

So, are we likely to see changes to the graphics this week? Really enjoyed last week's shows, it felt too like the presenters seemed happy with it and the direction it was taking, anyone agree?

Definitely - it was much better last week, in fact a few of my friends turned over from Breakfast.

I know Daybreak won't get a strangle-hold over Breakfast as the BBC is used more for businesspeople and the like, but I hope more people realise how fun and inviting Daybreak is, compared to the BBC's cold and stale presenters and features.

they can tweak it however much they want, the fact is people don't want to watch grumpy Chiles and giggling Bleakley first thing in the morning.

No cause they prefer grumpy Turnbull/Stayt and whichever female they have there for a day.

So you'd prefer a dull voice rather than some fun in the morning? The first thing I want is to be cheered up when it's 7am and I have to go to work for seven hours five days a week.

Well I used to be a staunch BBC Breakfast viewer but have been with Daybreak since the launch, I occassionally switch over to see if there's been any changes and find that I switch back in seconds, I find Breakfast increasingly 'pale' in terms of physically how the studio looks and also, any morning on Breakfast is almost identical to the next, yes they have structure but almost to the point of being robotic, I do prefer the weekend editions and think Adrian and Christine have an audience out there who really do like their style and I am proud to be one of a (hopefully) growing number.

BBC Breakfast gets more viewers because its associated with the BBC News brand. GMTV stopped being the top breakfast show after the phone in scandal and the audience has been in decline since. Getting people to switch breakfast TV choices is more difficult than most other programmes because the breakfast audience is notoriously hard to please and audiences simply don't like change. I do think the audience will grow when BBC Breakfast moves to Salford.

I'm not sure why people refer to Adrian as "grumpy". Seriously, Adrian is just Adrian, I've never seen him sitting there having a "grump". In fact, I find him quite witty sometimes.

He's witty yes, but his humour is something for the lads, not the mums who would watch Daybreak, the sort of people who will watch this show just wont get Chiles.

Each to their own I guess, me personally wants to know the agenda and the news making the world so Breakfast is for me before going to work.
