I don't want to see him anytime of the day, he's so loud and completely took over during "In the mix". Please Daybreak, no more Barrowman.

Broadcaster have to make an obvious distinction between programming and advertising. If they overlayed a DOG on adverts, that would be blurred, and very likely cover-up advertising messages and graphics.

Did they? Well, that's something!

Re: New sting. Mistaken - there was close-up of the Yellow things on the Sports desk, or something, around 8:15am. My mistake!

Also, Daybreak is now available on ITV Player. Just caught up on what I missed with Daybreak - very nice 6am start!

Not entirely, but over the next fortnight it will be greatly reduced to minimal

Is the logo remaining purple or will it be some of the graphics that keep the colour?

The performance area takes up the same amount of space as before but that dosen't explain where that extra wall(next to Dan) has suddenly appeared, maybe they will utilise it later? nice colours for the video wall studio as well as the news, but the sport and weather remains the same, and the daybreak logo being purple only matches up with Kate Garraway's top, the coloured blinds being very minty blue dosent match up with anything else either, content wise its still old and tired Daybreak.
