I think that Lucy is doing a great job. In fact I prefer her to Christine.

I think Daybreak should have an audience where people could shout patronising advice and praise to the presenters as they attempt to do their jobs. It would improve the show no end. I wonder where members for this audience could be found.

On the balcony behind the sofa. They can be given SCD style number boards to rate the current performance of the presenters, and be encouraged to leap and jump around to show their support / anger.

I'd watch it.

I actually found myself thinking that, I really enjoyed the programme this morning. Although I would have like to have seen Tasmin to get a chance on the sofa Lucy did a fantastic job and she's miles better than Kate.

I can't say I like her more than Kate, but definitely more than Christine. From parts of the show I've seen Kate has been the best, then Lucy. Well done Lucy!

For all you Lucy Watson fans, Lucy will be presenting Daybreak with Adrian Chiles on Friday 2nd September (just upon the first year anniversary of GMTV ending). It will be interesting to watch how she presents alongside Adrian. However, as I've said in previous post this is the kind of approach the show needs to develop the existing correspondent's and reporters. As Ginofish said I would like the chance to see Tasmin or even Cordelia and Anna present the show as well.

Also, with regards to the revamp of the set, irrespective of how major or minor the changes are for instance Anoilyrag suggesting 'significant set changes' or Cross Channel stating that there would be tweaks to the same studio and set with different furnishings and different positions. I hope they address the problem of the ever increasing darker mornings without having to deploy those hideous yellow blinds. I think the blinds themselves defeat the point of having the studio in the first place.

They could get over the window issue by simply changing the colour of the blinds. They could use the dull orange they used when they were hiding work on the roof terrace, they could even use the purple as seen on the panels near the sports desk. It just needs to be not as bright as last years yellow. They'll probably bring the second wall back too. Fixing the smaller window problem at the news desk they should have the news coming from the sports desk, a very simple switch I'm surprised they haven't yet thought of.

The main sofa set is fine and there isn't much you can do with a window, a red sofa and some laminate flooring. That is always going to look the same. The rest of the set could be better integrated though even if its just by having the same floor throughout. At the minute it looks like two sets in one room.
